it has done on numerous years in the past, Burleigh Heads RSL
Sub Branch remembered the fallen fellow diggers of World War II
and the Vietnam War at a combined VP Day and Vietnam Veterans'
Day commemorative service conducted at the Cenotaph in Burleigh
Heads Memorial Park. In recent years, such commemorative services
have gained a significant increase in public interest as is reflected
by these articles clipped from the The Gold Coast Sun of August
15, 2007.
