Ross Smith, Chief Executive Officer for RSL Care, communicated the following announcement recently.

I am pleased to announce that Anne McGill has been appointed to the position of Area Manager North Queensland. Anne commenced in this role on 13 November 2006.

Anne will be based in Brisbane. The spread of RSL Care and particularly North Queensland means that it is no longer possible to co-locate Area Managers with all of the services. This draws from the Brisbane North model in which the Area Manager and area support staff successfully manage the Pioneers facility in Longreach using a combination of on-site support and distance support techniques.

Anne has recently held positions as CEO in the health and business information sectors. She holds an MBA from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Business (Management) from QUT. Anne brings to RSL Care extensive experience from a variety of roles both within Australia and overseas working in for-profit, not- for-profit and government organizations.
