The official opening of the Air Warfare Destroyer Systems Centre signifies a major milestone for the AWD Program, marking the establishment of a collaborative team environment committed to the successful delivery of the AWDs.

The construction of the AWDs provides enormous opportunity for Australia’s shipbuilding industry, creating more than 1,000 jobs in South Australia with a further 1,000 jobs at shipbuilding and engineering sites throughout Australia.
