Today, Burleigh
Heads RSL Sub Branch reached another milestone in its ever-evolving
growth by making the Minutes of its Monthly Meetings available
to all members of the sub-branch through the sub-branch web-site.
Since the sub-branches
web-site was launched on September 3, 2005, thousands of visitors
have been recorded and the site has become a reference point
for members, local residents, students, politicians, and many
others.
"Today's achievement
brings our membership more in tune with what is happening
in the sub-branch, no matter where they might happen to be."
stated the sub-branches webmaster, Robert Jones, himself currently
based in New York. Jones went on to say "the minutes
are there for every member to read and review at all times.
This will allow all those who cannot be present at the meetings
for one reason or another to catch up with the latest happenings
in the sub-branch."
Access to the Minutes
is not available to everyone. They are protected by a security
barrier that requires a Username and Password.
