The July
monthly General Meeting saw the Sub-Branch move into the 21st
Century with a fantastic new Audio-Visual sound system to improve
the availability of disseminating information to members, as most
have hearing difficulties. The Minister of Veterans Affairs approved
the grant to pay for this equipment and at the July Meeting, Mrs
Margaret May, Federal Member for McPherson was in attendance to
present the cheque to the President, Mr Chris Keating with the
assistance of Anne-Maree Grasso and Kathy Nelson from the Southport
VAN office who had assisted with the original application. |
