Our above esteemed member departed this life on 3oth April, 2010, aged 105.

Bill transferred his membership to Burleigh Heads Sub-Branch on 8 November 2000 from Tweed Heads/Coolangatta.
He relocated to a Retirement home in Victoria in 2004, to be closer to family. He is featured on our website in News - April 2006.

Bill enlisted in the RAAF on 4th April 1942 and served until 14 March 1946 with 1 Flying Boat Repair Shop at several locations including New Guinea.

His family said he enjoyed good health for 104 years but had experienced failing health over the last six months.

Bill will be sadly missed by all who knew him and especially his family.
