Our above esteemed member departed this life on 29th January 2011, aged 88.

We have been advised by a friend that William John Robson passed away on Saturday, 29th January 2011 after a prolonged illness in the Nerang Nursing Centre where he had been for the last two years. Bill, as he was known to his friends, joined the Burleigh Heads RSL in 2004 and had been an RSL Member since 1946. Bill's friend Earl spoke to me and stated that it was a blessed relief that Bill passed away as he had no quality of life what so ever for the last two years. Bill was cremated privately at his own request, his ashes will be returned to Sydney to be interned with his parents.

Bill will be missed by family & members that knew him and his friends.
