Our
above esteemed member departed this life on 10th June, 2011,
aged 87
in Pindara Hospital after suffering poor health for about
18 months.
John
Mervyn Rapp, transferred to Burleigh Heads RSL Sub-Branch
in 2003 from Southport RSL and had been an RSL member since
1950. John was an active member and served as the Attendance
Officer's assistant since coming to Burleigh Heads RSL. John
made a huge contribution to the Sub-Branch as a member and
will be missed by members and his friends.
John's
funeral service will be conducted by Somerville Funerals and
will be held at the
Somerville Funeral Chapel
Nerang-Broadbeach Road,
Nerang, QLD
on
Thursday, 16th June 2011 at 1500 hours
RSL Poppy service will take place.
