Our above esteemed member departed this life on 15th September 2011, aged 93.

Phil, as he was know to his friends, transferred from Southport RSL on the 8th January 2003 to the Burleigh Heads RSL where he remained until his passing. Philip did not attend meetings as he was profoundly deaf and even with hearing aids he could only hear one-on-one, so life was very difficult for any social interaction. Philip was a very cheerful chap as his photo attached indicates.

Phil will be missed by his wife Norah, family, friends and members of the sub-branch that knew him.

Please try and attend to farewell a comrade and pay your last respects!
