passed away peacefully with his friends by his side as he had no family.

Geoff Spicer, Ray's executor, has advised that there will be no funeral service in accordance with Ray wishes.
Also as per Ray's wishes, his body is being donated to the University of Queensland towards medical research.
This last act reflects the kind of man Ray was, to his friends and his community!

Ray joined Burleigh Heads RSL in 2001 and was a very active member until his health started to fail in the last few weeks.
Ray will be sadly missed by Burleigh Heads RSL members and all his friends.
