Our above esteemed member departed this life on 17th April, 2010, aged 86.

Neil Harcourt transferred to Burleigh Heads RSL from Victoria RSL in 1991 and was appointed as our Pension Officer. Neil transferred to Surfers Paradise RSL on the 21 January 1999, where he continued as the Burleigh Heads RSL Sub-Branch Honorary Pension/Advocate officer for over eleven years. In those years, he assisted many of our members with their proper pension entitlements, for which they are forever grateful.

Neil Harcourt worked tirelessly for the veteran community. The Surfers Paradise RSL Veterans Office was named in his honour.

Neil will be greatly missed by all and leaves very big shoes to fill. Our deepest sympathy goes to his wife Robin and his family.
