A PRIVATE cremation service for our esteemed departed member

KENNETH JOHN (KEN) HANNEY ex RAN Borneo/Malaya

will be held tomorrow August 16th, 2007.

There will not be an RSL Funeral Service in accordance with Ken's final wishes.

Ken had been a member of the RSL for many years mainly in NSW and transferred to Burleigh only in 2005. Sadly, Ken passed away today in Pindara Hospital after a prolonged illness. Ken's wife, Shirley, currently holds the position of President of the Burleigh Heads RSL Sub-Branch Women's Auxiliary. Our deepest sympathy goes to Shirley and her family.
