Our
above esteemed member peacefully departed this life on 18th
April, 2010, aged 83.
Harry
joined the Burleigh Heads RSL in 2003 and due to health issues
was unable to be a regular attendee.
Harry battled treatment for prostate cancer for a year and
lost the battle on the 18th April 2010. I spoke to his daughter
today and she stated he had 82 good years and one bad one!
The family were not aware of his RSL membership and were too
distraught at the time to search, but notified us today of
Harry's passing after receiving his AGM notice. I was told,
Harry was a very private person and did not convey his health
problems. Harry will be missed by his family and friends.
