Our above esteemed member departed this life on 17th April 2009, aged 86.

Bill as he was known to his friends joined the Burleigh Heads RSL Sub-Branch in 2005 and tried to be an active member but due to his deteriorating health was unable. While a member, Bill tried to attend commemoration services when and if his health permitted. Bill had been admitted to Alamanda Hospital after a fall at home some weeks ago to give the family an opportunity to find a nursing home as his health had got much worse but sadly he died this afternoon on
Friday 17th April 2009 with his family close by.

Bill will be missed by his friends and our deepest sympathy goes to Norma and his family.

Bill Dawson's Funeral will take place at the

Garden Chapel of Allambie Memorial Park,
Nerang-Broadbeach Road, Nerang

on Wednesday 22nd April 2009 at 1.30pm.

RSL poppy service will take place, Medal to be worn.

Please try to attend and farewell a fallen comrade.
