MAX WILFRED ARNOLD ex-2nd AIF ARMY WWII

departed this life on 28 January 2008, aged 88.

The funeral service will be conducted by Heritage Brothers, Lower West Burleigh Road, Burleigh Heads

A celebration of Max's life
will be held in the
Parkview Chapel of Allambe Memorial Park,
Nerang-Broadbeach Road, Nerang
on
Friday, February 1st , 2008 at 1000 hours

and will be followed by a graveside service.

Max Arnold had been a very active member of the Burleigh Heads RSL and attended almost every meeting and social event from the 14th April 2004 since transferring from Southport RSL. Max had been a continuous member of the RSL since 1946 and received his Special Service Award on the 9th August 2006 which was a very proud day for Max as he was not aware of this award. Max suffered with poor health since last ANZAC Day and after spending some time in a Nursing Home last year passed away peacefully in Pindara Hospital. Our deepest sympathy goes to Betty, Max's wife and his family.
